There are a number of insurance companies that cover massage therapy. We are happy to be credientaling with them. This is a continued work in progress. As we take on more insurance companies, we will list them below.

Key Considerations About Your Insurance Benefits
Deductibles
Some insurance companies require you to meet a deductible. You may have to meet your deductible prior to your insurance company covering the cost for our services. Your payment at Vida will be applied towards reaching your deductible.
Co-Pay
Your insurance company may ask that you pay a copay for services at Vida Wellness.Some plans require a prescription
Others require preauthorization
Some FHA and HSA may require a prescription
Getting Familiar with Your Benefits
We recommend contacting your insurance company regarding your massage therapy benefits. Here is a check list of helpful questions to assist you in checking your benefits. Ensuring you are well informed about your coverage.
Do I need a referral/prescription or preauthorizations from my primary care physician to receive massage therapy?
Can I receive massage therapy from an LMT that DOES NOT work under or with a chiropractor?
Is massage therapy available to me now or do I need to first meet my deductible?
How many visits are covered per calendar year/benefit period? And is that number shared with acupuncture or chiropractic care?
Do I need to see an in-network provider?
If I am able to see an out-of-network massage therapist, what is the reimbursement rate?
Is massage therapy covered or included under physical therapy benefits when billed as 97140?

If you have an appointment scheduled and we’re unable to confirm your insurance benefits in advance, you may be asked to pay for your session at time of service. Once your insurance is verified, we’ll take care of your reimbursement.
